Wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Trenčín is designed to treat wastewaters that are produced in the residential and industrial buildings on the right bank of the river Váh. Wastewater is drained off by a sewerage system that comes together in one sewer collector. Within the construction a gravity sewerage system 3270 meters long and a discharge pipeline 2300 meters long were implemented. The construction was co-financed by the European Union from ISPA Fund in the amount of 50% of the eligible costs.
