D1 Važec - Mengusovce2003-2008

An extension of the D1 Hybe - Važec stretch, this project follows the subsequent D1 stretch of Mengusovce - Jánovce and is part of the northern branch of the D1 motorway. It is routed via the outer areas of the Važec, Štrba and Mengusovce municipalities. Due to the terrain configuration and the artificial obstacles crossed, there are an adequate number of bridges; the crossing of the motorway with a wildlife corridor is designed by a tunnel.
Doprastav executes a part of the motorway, bridges, and the sewerage system, all of the above as part of a sub-contract for Inžinierske stavby, a.s.
