The route of the D1 motorway within the Nemšová - Ladce stretch is situated in the area between the flume of Nosický kanál and the River Váh. After over bridging the flume and the Bratislava - Žilina railway line the route connects to the existing I/61 road. The bridges over the flume a the railway track are the largest ones. The motorway bridge over the flume of Nosický kanál and the River Váh (near the municipality of Ladce) has three spans of 60 m, 105 m, and 60 m. It is a continuous girder bridge of pre-stressed concrete. The work consists of two separate bridge structures of a celled cross section, the total length being 226.6 m. The bridge over the arm of the River Váh and the railway line is 195 m long. It is a beam, five-span bridge with span lengths of 29.5 m, 3 x 42.0 m, and 29.5 m. The bridge superstructure is made of pre-stressed prefabricated members.
