D1 Bratislava Viedenská cesta - Prístavný most2003-2006

The project included the construction of a stretch of a 26.5/100 category, 3.867-km long motorway routed from the Viedenská cesta Street as far as the bridge of Prístavný most. The construction was underway in the central part of an existing road (the street of Einsteinova ulica) which pre-determined the vertical alignment. Parts of the project were also measures to protect the motorway from high levels of groundwater (km 6.25 to km 7.05). To safeguard collision-free crossing for pedestrians and cyclists, fivefootbridges were set up, which was executed over both the Einsteinovaroad system (that then was already completed) and the planned motorway. Noise control barriers were also constructed along the motorway, their length being 4.401 km.
