Construction of the A1 motorway stretch of Sośnica - Maciejów (Poland)2009-2011

Construction of the A1 motorway stretch from the Sośnica junction to the Maciejów junction (Poland).

The project is situated on the A1 motorway; there are three traffic lanes for each direction of travel throughout the stretch, of which two lanes are 3.5 m wide each, plus there is an emergency lane.

Works executed by Doprastav :
Flyover WA 458 bridging PKP, ul. Chorzowska, the River Bytomka and DK-4, km 512 + 538.03. It involves a concrete composite bridge of 40 spans; the total length is 1 663 m, the width (both directions) is 37 m, and the deck slab thickness is 0.25 to 0.5.
