The aim of the project was to construct the individual sections of the flood protection in Bratislava. It was divided into activities from 1 to 9 of which the Doprastav company implemented the activities number 2 and 3 and the activity number 7. The protection line is usually designed as a reconstruction of a defect or insufficient original protection line or as a new object adjacent to the banks of the Danube and Morava rivers including the new necessary height increase. Technically the flood protection is made from a system of fixed and mobile lines (ground homogeneous dams, underground impenetrable or construction walls, protective flood walls and light and by hand movable mobile dams).
