R1 Rudno nad Hronom - Žarnovica2004-2006

The R1 express road within the Rudno nad Hronom - Žarnovica stretch forms an uninterrupted continuation of the Hronský Beňadik - Nová Baňa - Rudno nad Hronom stretches. Part of the R1 Rudno nad Hronom - Žarnovica stretch was also the construction of the right-handed portion of the Žarnovice dual carriageway bypass road. The project consisted of two parts. The first stretch, the length of 5.485 km, consisted of building a dual express road; the second stretch (the length of 4.470 km) involved completion of the Žarnovica bypass road.
