Planning for this project was underway many years; in the territory of Slovakia, it is the first professional racing track. The track is situated in a suitable climate zone with the maximum number of sunny days per year; it is also a very convenient location with only 36 km far away from Bratislava. The multi-functional nature of the area is to provide, in addition to the speedway, a skid school and racing circuits for more types of motor vehicles. With the six variants of different lengths (2.632 km up to 5.922 km) this multi-functional track provides 12 driving alternatives altogether in both directions. The auditorium for thousand spectators enables the view almost throughout the track. The circuit is designed as a continuous track, with no sharp curves and slight, 4% climbs. Unique to Europe is the final straight with its width and length.
