Completion of the Bratislava ÚNS - Bratislava Petržalka line1995-1997

The construction length is 10.468 km for the station rails, 2.778 km for the track rails and 1.73 km for the ÚBB rails. The station building in Petržalka has three floors; the total building volume is 41 600 cubic metres. The underpass for pedestrians is 51.5 m long and 6 m wide; the underpass for luggage is 52.3 m long and 3 metres wide. One island platform has a length of 500 m; the platform along the station building is 300 m long. The platforms are sheltered using a prefabricated framework throughout the length. Rainwater from the rail yard and the platform roofing is purified in two rainwater tanks and pumped into the municipal sewerage system.
